After the war she lived abroad for several years, first in Paris and then in Ascona, Switzerland, studying and writing. On her return to New York she worked as a research associate at the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art; later she became an English teacher. She has published poetry, literary criticism and a book for children, a botanical fantasy about trees. She lives in Durham, North Carolina, with here husband, an artist and emeritus professor of psychology. Signed by Author.…
