Unpaginated. 31.5 x 26.5 cm. 88 full page chromolithograph plates (8 detail costumes like shoes or headgear), and feature costumes of various regions, cities, and towns in Germany. The last eight plates are multiple images of shoes, sashes, capes, leggings, head covers, coats, hats, and other accouterments. Text in English, German and French. Bookplate of Ilse M. Bishoff a renown American/German artist and book illustrator who resided in New York City. Interior contents very fresh, clean and bright. COLAS 1670. LIPERHEIDE 740.
