First Edition
Couverture rigide. Condition: Bon. Edition originale. Il s'orienta vers l'ORL.REFERENCES: Dorahy MJ et al.: Dissociation and the dissociative disorders: "The first scientific case study of patients with DDD was published in 1873 by the Hungarian ear-nose-throat specialist Krishaber (1836-1883). He described 38 patients with psychophysiological stress symptoms, like anxiety, fatigue, dizziness, and pervasive DP/DR [Depersonalization / Derealization]. Krishaber outlined the case of a 43-year-old army officer who suddenly developed a pervasive state of depersonalization and derealization that lasted several years."; Sierra M: Depersonalization: A New Look at a Neglected Syndrome, pp. 9-10:"The first systematic account of such experiences was provided by Maurice Krishaber (1873) who, under the category 'Névropathie cérébro-cardiaque' reported 38 patients showing a mixture of anxiety, fatigue and depressive mood. Krishaber noted that over one-third of these patients complained of a baffling and distressing mental experience, characterized by the loss of a feeling of reality. He went on to suggest that these phenomena resulted from sensory dysfunction. One of the earliest writers to suggest that feelings of unreality might stem from pathological changes in the sensory apparatus was Krishaber himself. He believed that 'multiple sensory distorsions led to experiences of self-strangeness' (Krishaber, 1873, p. 171)."; Lempérière T : La névropathie cérébrocardiaque de Krishaber (1873) : une première description du trouble panique. Psychol Med 1987,19:1819-21 ; Shorter E : A historical dictionary of psychiatry: Paroxysmic attacks of panic [The Krishaber's description] is generally thought the first description in the French literature of paroxysmic anxiety, later called 'panic attacks'."; Jablonski S: Eponymic syndromes and diseases, p. 176: "Krishaber's disease. Synonym: cerebrocardiac syndrom"; Kircher T & David A: The self in neuroscience and psychiatry, p. 17: "Reports of behaviours redolent of what later on was to be called depersonalization can be found since early in the nineteenth century. The first systematic account was Krishaber's (1873), who reported 38 patients with 'la névropathie cérébrocardique' (cerebrocardiac neuropathy). Over one-third of these patients complained of feelings of unreality. But it was Dugas who coined the term depersonnalisation"; Berrios GE The History of Mental Symptoms, pp. 268, 270, 274, 276, 281; Vigarello G : Histoire de la perception du corps.
