La vita di frate Andrea da Cremona della famiglia milanese de' Muffi è raccontata da Zaccaria Boverio negli Annali dell'Ordine de' Frati Minori Cappuccini (tomo secondo Venezia 1645, pp. 138-139). Il religioso si dedicò a una vita austera e alla carità, l'incisione ne mostra alcuni passaggi, in primo piano è ricordato come nei mesi estivi mettesse a raffreddare il vino per i confratelli in un pozzo, in secondo piano è mostrato quando riceve da un ragazzo sconosciuto delle uova che stava andando a cercare per dei confratelli malati, mentre guarisce un infermo e infine sul letto di morte quando gli appare il demonio sotto forma di un leone scacciato dall'apparizione della Madonna e di san Francesco, nell'incisione il santo è sostituito da Gesù. All'opera prese parte anche il fratello di Eckhard ossia Johann Heinrich Loffler (1604 - ?). Formato: 305x200mm.
