Nach der Darstellung der wichtigsten bekannten Fehlerquellen werden in diesem Buch zwei mögliche Auswege aUfgezeigt. Einmal gilt es, die Artefakte besser als bisher zu kontrol lieren und soweit wie möglich zu eliminieren. Zum zweiten gilt es,neue sog. nicht-reaktive Verfahren zu entwickeln und zu erproben, bei denen die Gefahr der Ergebnisverzerrung niedriger ist als bei den konventionellen Untersuchungen. Diese beiden Strategien sollten dabei aber nicht als Alter nativen,sondern als sich ergänzende Vorgehensweisen aufge faßt werden.
