Chancery folio (278 x 189 mm). 402 leaves. Some dampstaining and scattered wormholes, a few spots of soiling, hole in final blank, some toning. Contemporary blindstamped calf over wooden boards, brass clasps and catchplates, paper labels on spine. Bottom panel of spine restored, some wear to boards and joints. Michael Lochmaier, a professor of canon law and theology, was one of the most promenent members of the University of Vienna and a canon of the Cathedral of Passau, after Benedictus Mayr, and between 1485 and 1493 produced about thirty books there.
