Lachmann (1878-1941) "ging als junger Mann nach Berlin, wo er sich der Bohème von Dichtern und Literaten anschloss und in deren legendärem Treffpunkt, dem Charlottenburger Romanischen Café, verkehrte. In diesen Kreisen lernte er auch John Henry Mackay kennen, der 1897 eine Biographie über Max Stirner veröffentlicht hatte und für dessen damals noch wenig bekannte Ideen den Namen individualistischer Anarchismus einführte. Lachmann konnte substantielle Beiträge zu der schwierig zu erhellenden Stirner-Biographie leisten, die Mackay in die zweite Auflage seines Buches aufnahm. Auch sonst stand Lachmann dem sich auf Stirner berufenden individualistischen Anarchismus nahe" (Wikipedia). L. starb 1941 im Ghetto Litzmannstadt/ Lodz, in das er von den Nazis deportiert worden war. Anarchistische Bibliothek 7 Gramm 600 3.Aufl. (EA Leonh. Erste Ausgabe. - Der Schriftsteller und Buchhändler Lachmann hatte 1919 seine Buchhandlung Bayerischer Platz mit angeschlossener Leihbibliothek in Berlin-Schöneberg gegründet, zu deren Kunden Gottfried Benn, Albert Einstein, Salomo Friedlaender (Mynona) und viele Andere zählten. Im gleichen Jahr begründete er die Halbmonatsschrift Der individualistische Anarchist , eines der wenigen deutschsprachigen anarchistischen Organe, von dem allerdings nur wenige Nummern erschienen. Nach der Machtübernahme der Nationalsozialisten geriet der jüdische Buchhändler zunehmend unter Druck, 1937 musste er seine Buchhandlung an seinen Mitarbeiter verkaufen. Versuche, ins Ausland zu entkommen, scheiterten. Im Oktober 1941 wurde Lachmann ins Ghetto Lód? (Litzmannstadt) deportiert und dort am 4. Dezember ermordet. (Vgl.
