Natalia Lach-Lachowicz / Natalia LL (1937-2022) was a Polish artist who worked with paint, photography, drawing, performance, and video art. She was a pioneer of f…eminist avant garde image making. Permafo Gallery / Galeria Permafo was established by the art group with the same name which consisted of the artists: Natalia LL, Andrzej Lachowicz, Zbigniew Dlubak and the art critic Antoni Dzieduszycki. It conducted its activity during the years 1970-1981. The activity of the gallery was interrupted by the introduction of martial law in Poland. Original advertising poster of Andrzej Lachowicz's exhibition titled PERMAFO, that was on show in the PERMAFO Gallery in Wroc?aw, Poland in 1971 with a photographic image of his 1971 artistic action, PERMART, that took place during the Golden Gra…pe Symposium in Zielona Góra. Original black and white photographic poster of Lachowicz's work with a hand, showing 'three' or rather 'W' for the German word, 'Widerstand' [resistance] two times (one under the other). Andrzej Lachowicz (18761944) was Polish graphic artist, photographer, filmmaker and art theoretician. In 1970 along with Natalia LL, Zbigniew D?ubak and Antoni Dzieduszycki he initiated the Neo-Avant-Garde group Permafo (an abbreviation of the words permanent and photo/formalization). He was also the designer of the logo of the group. Lachowicz was also a founder and the art director of the Permafo Gallery in Wroc?aw, that was the most influential institution and the centre of Polish photomedialism until it closed in 1981. . The works in this exhibition developed the concept of "permanent art" central to Lachowicz' work. This exhibition in October 1971 was one of the earliest exhibitions of PERMAFO, which Lachowicz founded with Natalia LL, Zbigniew D?ubak, and the art critic Antoni Dzieduszycki.
