Couverture souple. Condition: Bon. Albert Lacombe est né à Saint-Denis -près-Martel le 13 février 1897. Instituteur, il enseigne successivement à Cardaillac, à Saint-Germain-du-Bel-Air, à Molières, à Estal et à Prudhomat où il exerçe durant 27 ans (de 1924 à 1952), avant de se retirer à Biars-sur-Cère en 1949, ou il meurt en 197…1. Il collabore aux diverses revues littéraires lotoises et journaux locaux et régionaux d'après guerre dont Divona, Oltis ou Sud-Ouest. En 1936 il participe au Grelh Carcinol, bulletin de l'école félibreenne du même nom publié en supplément du Bulletin de la Société des Etudes du Lot et dirigé alors par le futur Majoral du Félibrige, Jules Cubaynes. On retrouve également ses textes dans Lo Cobreto, revue du Félibrige d'Auvergne, dirigée par son collègue le Majoral Jean Fay. Résolument réfractaire à la graphie occitane, toute son oeuvre est écrite en graphie phonétique. En 1932 il fit paraître ses Monologues patois (Saint-Céré, Vertuel, 1932), puis en 1954 Les Contes du Quercy. A sa mort paraissent Fantaisies quercynoises (Cahors, imp. Delsaud, ed. de l'amicale laïque de bretenoux, 1972) et enfin sa fille rassemble l'essentiel de son oeuvre dans Contes et Poèmes de mon Cantou (Aurillac, ed. Gerbert 1993) Son engagement comme soldat lors du premier conflit mondial lui valu la Croix de guerre avec citations et la Légion d'honneur. Son uvre poétique fut couronnée par la Médaille d'Officier d'Académie. Aujourd'hui une rue de Biars qui porte son nom conserve son souvenir. Contenu : Lo Téchounado, un mystéri, Tzens de villo, Lo Quilloboumbo, Lou Refurgoïllaïre, Lo confessïou de Boptisto,Lou Tourrin et lou vi câou, Les Milodïous del Quercy. Publié à compte d' auteur, broché avec une couverture souple en bon état, format 21X13cm, 18 pages.
