Condition: Fair. 1951. First Edition. 327 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth. Pages are moderately tanned, but text remains clear. Noticeable marking to some pages throughout; text is not obscured. Small water stain to fore edge of textblock. Pencil inscriptions to front free endpaper. Boards have heavy shelf-wear, with visible corner bumping and noticeable scuffing to edges. Spine and edges are heavily sunned, with noticeable crushing and slight splitting to ends. Some noticeable marks overall, including water stain to rear board. Book has a slight forward lean.
