Hunting buffalo and other game in South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.particularly on Lake Rukwa and the Kafue flats.Illustrated with photo-plates tipped in.307 pages plus appendix, maps on the endpapers.Pale orange cloth with red lettering and buffalo head decoration. The cloth is very browned and stained, particularly on the spine, and the cloth at the spine ends is frayed and brittle. The page edges are also browned. Otherwsie a sound copy and internally all complete and in good order, fairly clean throughout with some offsetting to first and last pages.Inner hinges are intact with no spltting along the endpapers making for a solid and sound binding. no dustwrapper. The book is nicely inscribed, with a hunting association, and signed by the author thus : To a grand little/"loader"/from the author/ Conyers Lang/Mar 1935". Signed and Inscribed By the Author.
