This book will take a look at that short perios of time during which the Erie Lackawanna existed, on that portion of the railroad from Meadville, PA west. The main stem of the EL from Meadville to Chicago found its way west while avoiding all the biggest of the population centers served by the competition and being aced out of much of the traffic in those few centers it did serve.
