The first issue has a little chipping to the spine ends, some quite light soiling and creasing to the wrappers, and some spotting to five or six preliminary and concluding leaves. The third issue exhibits some marginal spotting, and the fourth issue has a ring stain blemish to the upper wrapper. In all, a nice bright set of this short-lived periodical produced to promote the work of the Dymock poets. Includes the first printing of Rupert Brooke's celebrated 'War Sonnets' in the fourth issue, printed just a few months before his death (in total Brooke contributes sixteen poems across the full run, Drinkwater contributes seven poems and a play, Abercrombie contributes three plays and a poem, and Gibson contributes twelve poems and two verse-plays).
