The author and George Wurzburger went to Angola - a Portuguese colony - to see first-hand the ancient customs of such native tribes as the Cunhamas. In these 284 pages (including INDEX) we see Laszlo being called on for his medical knowledge. We also see puberty rites and funeral ceremonies. Two sections of b/w photographs assist text. End-papers are maps of the territory explored. Cond : Boards are black with no graphics and silver gilt lettering - spine only. D.J. is missing. Volume has v. sli. cock and the stamp of a p/o on fep - #ELSE tight, bright and clean. Minor remnants of the d.j. are stuck to the front board. No tears, no creases, no stains. No marks, not sun-faded. EXCELLENT reading copy ! !
