A photo album compiled by Inez Lauer, a young girl from Los Angeles, California, featuring photographs of her and her friends and family enjoying Southern California, dates ranging from 1934-1937. Includes photos from Balboa, Catalina Island, Oceanside, Mount Baldy, Palisades, Santa Monica, and Los Angeles, showing beach trips, Catalina ferry rides, riding horses, a trip to "Mrs. Eades cabin at Palasades [sic]," and more. The last few pages feature photos of Inez and her friends at their graduation from Los Angeles High School, followed by a few photos at a swimming pool and a few of her grandmother. The photos are charmingly captioned throughout, describing who is pictured and, often tongue-in-cheek, what they are doing. One group of photos are captioned "Frank on his weddin' day (why the frown?)", another caption reads "Me spankin' Anita + 'Chilli' cause I caught 'em 'muggin' on me." A lovely 1930's photo album, showing the life and adventures of a young high-school girl and her friends throughout Southern California.
