The preface of this 144 page scientific study outlines the study triangle as follows: southern New York to Virginia to eastern Ohio. The range map on page 114 shows the area extends into eastern Canada. Most of the photographs are in b/w but a few are in colour - like the one of a chipmunk and a cardinal sharing sunflower seeds on page 107. READ more about : F.V. Clulow, expansion, predators, sub genera, habitat, territorial boundaries, burrows, weaning, climbers,Tamias, tail shape, behavior, and epideictic vocalization. Cond : Boards are brown with gilt lettering at spine. Rust coloured end-papers. D.J. is black with white lettering. The author named all his subjects, the one on the cover is Pickwick. Volume is clean and square and bright. No names , marks, creases, nor wear. D.J. has minor edge wear. Almost giftable ! !
