Cramer and co. in c.1890.In the publisher's original brown cloth, with a frontispiece of 'Proud Maisie' by pre-Raphaelite painter Frederick Sandys. Contains many pages of sheet music and an original advertisement leaf at the rear.Macleod and Boulton wished to bring to the public a variety of traditional Scottish melodies that are less well-known to the public, using both Lowland and Highland dialects.
