Book is tight, square, and unmarked but for a F/O name on the FFFP. Book Condition: Very Good; light shelfwear to head, tail, and tips; light wear to the title shadowbox on the spine. No DJ. Red cloth boards and spine with gilt lettering in a black shadowbox. 359 pp 4to. The author was His Imperial Roman Majesty's Chief Superintendent of Mines and Comptroller in the Kingdom of Bohemia. This book related his methods of assaying ores and extracting gold, silver and other metals from them. This book deals with the art of assaying and of refining silver, gold, and copper. A clean very presentable copy.
