Cloth Hardcover. Condition: Very Good +. No Jacket. Lawson, Robert SIGNED (illustrator). Limited and Numbered First Edition. Burlap covered boards are slightly tanned. Edges show only the slightest wear but spine is slightly tanned. A couple pages have small stains and edges of pages are tanned with light foxing. This is the special Thistle Edition signed by Leaf and Lawson limited to 525 copies. EVEN MORE SPECIAL IS AN INSCRIPTION BY LEAF ON THE HALF TITLE PAGE: THIS IS WEE GILLIS LOOKING WITH FRIENDSHIP AND AFFECTION AT LU AND JOHNNY AND WISHING THEM ALL THE HAPPINESS IN THE WORLD FROM MUN. The rice paper looking case is tanned with a water stain at bottom of back with tears at corners, a 2" piece missing from the top and 3 watery looking white stains on front. (Please see photos).
