Soft cover. Condition: Very Good+. Lebedev, V. (illustrator). First English Language Edition. Illustrated children's story about the Russian circus, first published in the former Soviet Union (USSR),translated from the original Russian into English. Unpaginated, with full color illustrations on every page. No dates in book, but others from this publisher that are similar are c. 1960s. Oversized softcover has a stapled binding with decorative paper wrappers, unpaginated. Condition is VG+: very clean with the occasional spot or smudge. Staples are secure, but show a tad of rust. Covers & all pages completely secure. Minor edgewear, very slight creasing at outer corners. Stapled softcover pamphlet, undated (c1930s), unpaginated (12 pages including illustrated covers), brilliantly colourful illustrations;---text in Dutch;---slight age toning to covers, just a hint of finger soiling to white portion of front cover at fore edge, small bump/crease to bottom corner of back cover, very tiny traces of shelf wear to edges, tiny bookplate inside front cover by previous owner (a Dutch-Canadian silhouette artist and graphic designer who still lived and worked in The Netherlands during the 1930s/1940s) and his tiny ink numeral inside back cover. but text pages very clean and unmarked.
