A little rubbed to the spine, particularly at the head and tail. Rubbed to the joints, with a two-inch crack to the front joint at the tail of the spine. The front and rear hinges are starting, but firm. Pages are lightly age-toned, with sporadic patches of light foxing. Good. book.

From Nobel Prize winning poet, journalist and novelist, Anatole France. Illustrated by Leon Lebegue (1863-1930), a French lithographer, etcher, poster artist, and illustrator. He studied under the painter Jean-Léon Gérôme at the Paris Academy and began a career as an illustrator for satirical and artistic magazines in the 1890s.
