The JAX Raceway complex ran it's 1/2 mile dirt track from 1973 to 2004. These photographs, featuring the likes of Floyd Garrett, Danny Lee, Carl McCormick and Legends Tommy Riggins (Kelly American Drivers Champion and 2003 Grand-Am GTX Driving Champ) and Jim Britts represent a part of racing history in North Florida that is quite typical of the other NASCAR breeding grounds of the American South. The cars vary from Late Model to Stock, but all capture a bit of "life" at the regional race-track in the early years of the late 20th Century NASCAR boom.
