Add to basketSoft cover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Slim booklet with grey card covers with yapped edges and a cord binding. Contains a number of pasted-in full-colour illustrations of various needlework examples. Undated, but estimated Circa1920. The covers have some brown spotting, and are rather creased and shelfworn. The internal pages are browning, and the page edges are untrimmed. The illustrations are yellowing and the colours perhaps a little faded, but the cord binding is intact and the contents clear and legible, so Good overall. Approx. 8 x 11 inches.
Small 4to, cloth backed printed boards, [ii], 18pp. Mounted color halftone frontispiece and numerous halftone illustrations. Ten actual, variously colored fabric samples are neatly mounted beneath a sheathed covering on the inside rear cover. The fabrics shown here are simulations of needlework and tapestry, covering stolid overstuffed English furniture for dull drawings rooms of the then upwardly mobile middle class.
