Estes resultados mostram que o stress parental dos pais refugiados norte-coreanos influenciou significativamente o comportamento parental de calor-encorajamento e de rejeição-negligência, indicando a necessidade de identificar formas de diminuir o stress parental. A educação parental pode orientar os pais refugiados norte-coreanos no sentido de reforçarem as interacções positivas entre pais e filhos, promovendo assim o crescimento e o desenvolvimento dos seus filhos.
