Engraved title-page in rococcostyle and all leaves (text and plates) engraved. (16),126,(6) pp., 62 full-page engravings, with engraved explanatory text on verso. Title-page a bit soiled. On inside upper cover "Denne Bog er taget af en dansk soldat fra en fjendtlig Officier i Slaget ved Fredericia den 6te Juli 1849" (this book was taken from a hostile officer (German) in the battle at Fridericia the 6th of July 1849). Slightly rubbed and corners a bit bumped. (4),XII,329"(4),VII,286 pp. and 33 large folded engraved plates (maps and battleplans). Some sheets browned. Stamp on title and verso. Vol. I deals with attacs and defence - Vol. II deals with mining - levelling and mapmaking. The collation corresponds to the editions of 1776 and 1778 issued under the title "Oeuvres Completes" also in 2 volumes. - Klaus Jordan Nos 2116 a. 2119.

A Maestricht, Chez Jean-Edme Dufour & Philippe Roux, Imprimeurs & Libraires, Associés, 1778, volumi 2, in-4, legatura coeva in pelle marmorizzata, dorso a 5 nervi con titolo e numero di volume su doppio tassello, fregi fitomorfi in oro negli scomparti, contropiatti marmorizzati, tagli rossi, nastrini, pp. (4), XII, 329, (1); (4), VII, (1), 286. Iniziali, testate e finali (spesso con insegne militari) in xilografia e complessive 33 tavole incise da J.B.P. Tardieu, piegate. Nel Tomo I, fra la prima e la seconda parte, le pagine 275-278 sono dedicate a come poter colorire le tavole. Il 1° volume ne contiene 17: 11 + 2 contrassegnate A e B + 3, dedicate all'assedio della cittadina di Schweidnitz (l'attuale Scwidnica in Polonia) da parte delle armate del Re di Prussia Federico II, durante la Terza guerra di Slesia nel 1762. Il 2° ne contiene 16: 5 in fine alla prima opera + 2 fra la seconda e la terza (siglate in alto a sx "Gl. de C.") + 7 in fine alla terza + 2 carte dell'America del nord (Quebec) in fine alla quarta. Minime tracce d'uso alle coperte e generale brunitura della carta, blanda ad eccezione di una minoranza di pagine, qualche difetto minore, ma buon esemplare. Prima edizione collettiva delle opere.
