Delahaye, 1867 ; 1 vol. in-8 (21 x 13.5 cm), 130, (3) pp., 1 planche lithographiée h.t., broché, couverture muette moderne, envoi autographe signé de l'auteur, quelques pâles rousseurs, bon état. Edition commerciale de la thèse de doctorat en médecine de l'auteur. C'est la première monographie française sur l'infarctus. Charles Lefeuvre (1839-1929), membre d'une lignée de médecins, fut interne des hôpitaux de Paris et de Rennes et préparateur d'histologie puis de physiologie à l'Ecole de médecine de Rennes où il deviendra professeur d'anatomie puis de physiologie. Il indique dans cette thèse qu'il a cherché à éclairer par des observations nouvelles et des expérimentations animales l'histoire et surtout la pathogénie de l'infarctus. Cette thèse est divisée en 2 parties : infarctus en général ; infarctus dans les principaux viscères (rate, rein, cerveau, intestin, c?ur, poumon, etc. ). Cette monographie comporte une belle planche, illustrant un infarctus de la rate, dessinée par Lefeuvre et lithographiée par Lackerbauer. Cf. P.
