    Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. Henry Detouche (illustrator). La Perche Capitaux (The Seven Cardinal Sins). Seven original poems by Edmond Haraucourt, Jules De Marthold, Frances De Croisset, Marc Emile Verhaeren, Henri De Regnier and Andre Fontainas. With seven full page aquatinted illustrations by Henry Detouche. No name or publisher is given but these are reissues of the original Art Nouveau productions of 1900. Presented by the French Magazine Grand Guingnol they are printed on thick vellum. Condition: Very Good. They have the marks to the left of they page where the staples that secured them into the magazine have been removed; but are otherwise clean, unfoxed and un-thumbed. Ideal for framing. The cover is a very faintly foxed and quite worn at the fold.

Très bel ouvrage Art Nouveau, dans lesquels "Les Sept Péchés Capitaux sont à l'âme humaine ce que les sept couleurs du prisme sont à la lumière (.) Toutes ces manifestations sont naturelles, nécessaires, car c'est de leur jeu complexe qu'est faite la vie et par elles que se sont constituées les sociétés (.)" Ce recueil de poésies inédites par Edmond Haraucourt, Jules de Marthould, Francis de Croisset, Marc Legrand, Émile Verhaeren, Henri de Régnier, André Fontainas sur les péchés capitaux est orné de sept compositions originales, à pleines pages, d'une couverture et d'une table des matières, superbement dessinées et gravées par Henry Detouche. Chaque page de titre et chacun des poèmes (protégés par une serpente), sont ornés d'une fleur qui les symbolise : la plume de paon/l'orgueil, le cerisier/la gourmandise, la colère/le chardon. Les neuf eaux-fortes en couleurs ont été tirées par Eugène Delatre. La partie typographique a été exécutée par Draeger Frères. Les clichés typographiques ont été gravés par Ruckert et Cie. Encres Lorilleux. Tirage limité à 175 exemplaires numérotés. Un des 150 exemplaires sur papier vélin des Papeteries du Marais.Infimes usures à la couverture, plis aux coins et aux serpentes.
