    Soft cover. Condition: Fine. 1st Edition. An extremely scarce booklet, printed by students at Berea College in Kentucky during the Great Depression. Product of the "Opportunity School Project" at Berea College. Title page bears the statement: "Hand set and printed by Lela Combs and Harriet Francis," students at the school. Fourteen pages. (Lela Combs may well have been a member of the Pine Mountain Settlement School Girl's Octet, which toured the Northeast in 1938, and performed at both the White House and Town Hall in New York City.) Songs included are: ""Hear Our Prayer," "List to the Lark," "O The Summer Rain," Shortnin' Bread," "By the Singing Water," "Whippoorwill," "The Carrion Crow," "Beautiful Dreamer," "Barbary Alan," "A Home on the Range," "Bonnie Doon," "Cape Cod Chantey," "Donkey Riding," & "Whistle Daughter, Whistle".
