A brief and fluid account, it gives highlights of the voyage, including the birth of a child in steerage class and the sighting of several whales. LeMoss visits aunts and uncles on the island of Terceira. Although his account is brief, he does give some fine details about every day things, such as the milkman delivering milk to his aunt.
