Comprehensive unit history of the 2/13th Field Ambulance in WWII, copiously illustrated. The unit was formed in WA in 1940. It served in "India, the Middle East, the Western Desert, Tobruk, Palestine, Syria, Darwin, Northern Queesland and the Pacific. The Unit was also deeply involved in the evacuations of both Greece and Crete and was actively engaged in the amphibious invasion and recapture of Borneo." (Author's Preface).
