Hardcover. Color illus. boards with red cloth spine, [32 pp.], BW & color illus. "Entertaining and Instructive," says the front cover. This is a collection of five adventure stories with transportation themes. Six pages have color illustrations that originally were left unfinished, and it was up to the child to cut apart the accompanying pieces and glue them onto the picture where they needed to go. A previous owner of this book has already done this; making the activity book less interactive than it was meant to be. Still, perhaps a stroll down memory lane or a look at an early 20th-century children's storybook is in order. Probably ahead of its time in several respects. G (Covers and pages show some wear and age; cut-outs have already been pasted to color illustration pages.).
