Extensive chipping, tears and creasing to dust wrapper. Sunning to spine of dust wrapper. Front inside flap of dust wrapper is not price clipped and has an earlier date stamped in black ink. Sunning inside dust wrapper. Slight lean to volume. Brick red boards have wear to edgings. Creasing along the length of spine. Pasted inside front cover is the "Advance Copy" label from the publisher Frederick A. Stokes with the title, publication date and cost filled in. Previous seller's price in pencil can still be seen inside front cover and blue ink inside back cover. Paper clip indent remains on front flyleaf.
