Subject : The stories of construction laborers and journeymen in the region of Lock Haven PA. Author's disclaimer reads: All of the above stories are true as based on information given to me by the various people involved during my years as a painter and paperhanger here in Lock Haven, Renovo, North Bend and also during he near three years that I spent in the Civilian Conservation Corps at Shinglebranch and the Eastern Shore of Maryland. The only exception is "Summerson Mountain HY". The story is based partly on unsubstantiated UFO sightings at that time (1938 and 1953). There was a child missing up on the mountain at that time, but nothing more of the incident could be tracked down. thus the story could be classified as fiction. 94 pages. There is a map at the front of the book showing the region. The book also has some B/W illustrations and photographs.
