Small 8vo. pp96, 8pp of catalogue at rear of book. Illustrated with black and white frontispiece. Dark blue buckram with floral design on front cover in green, gold and blue. Title in gilt. Very good. Emma Boultwood was born in Greenwich, Kent, England.She worked as an infant school governess in her twenties. She took the pseudonym Emma Leslie, and was first published in 1863. She wrote Christian fiction and historical novels, many of which were published by the Religious Tract Society. Scarce.
