Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Volume 1 of three volumes. Clean brown leather decorated with gilt. Spine with five raised bands and title label. All edges gilt. Text tight, clean & intact. Marbled endpapers. Five engraved illustrations, including fold outs. Pages, xliv, 304. Text in french. Spine ends are starting to crack, however covers are firmly attached. Lower spine label with volume number is missing. Nautical; B/W Engravings; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 304 pages.
