Half Calf. Condition: Very Good. First Edition. Scarce exegesis, with only two copies located on OCLC, one in Italy, the other, the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin. 8vo. 21 by 14 cm. 132 pp. An attempt to rescue Jewish moral philosophy from the prevalent misunderstanding of it, Levi's preface states in essence. Following comes a concise synopsis of the Talmud. The intended audience might have included non-Jews, it seems to us, although thus is not so stated. Rubbing of leather. Wear and small chips to paper pastedown on the boards. Occasional foxing.
