Interessante e rara opera di numismatica e archeologia piemontese; vengono descritte numerose iscrizioni e medaglie epitalamiche del Duca Filiberto e del Duca Carlo Emanuele ritrovate negli Stati del Regno di Sardegna, in particolare ad Acqui, Crescentino, Crissolo, Nole, Novalesa, Settimo Torinese, Staffarda, Torino, Vercelli, Chivasso e varie località del Canavese. Inoltre vi è una dissertazione sull`uso e la forma dei turiboli e una dimostrazione del ritrovamento di un campanello. La II parte dell`opera fu pubblicata a parte nel 1784 e talvolta è unita alla prima, come nel nostro caso. Bell`esemplare in ottime condizioni, impresso su carta forte, a grandi margini, piccola rottura alla parte superiore del dorso richiuso con carta gommata; a pagina 80 del secondo volume timbro per ex libris di F.
