Hardcover. First Edition. 175 pages. Stories based on the Australian-born actor's time on the vaudeville circuit. Black-and-white frontispiece by the author. Levy's skills and a cartoonist thrilled audiences. 'While he drew he indulged in a monologue which resembled that of Will Rogers' -- from his obituary in the Jewish Telegraph Agency. Presumed first edition (first printing, with no subsequent printings noted). Blue cloth with gilt titling and border stamped on cover. Spine ends and corners a bit worn, and some offsetting to endpapers, thus a very good copy. No dust jacket.
