A collection of 28 essays on various Slavonic subjects ranging from Constantine's Embassy to the Arabs, the reception of Shelley in Polish literature, the ideological role of the Russian church in the early 1300s, the British in Northern Siberia in the 19th century etc etc. Dame Elizabeth Hill [ 1900 - 1996 ] Russian born slavonic linguist who was director of the JSSL which during World War II trained military recruits in Russian for military intelligence purposes. 750 grams.
