Binding has remained firm. Boards are a little rub worn, slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. Tanning to spine and edges. Boards are bowed. Book has a forward lean. Water marks to boards and spine.

This is an ex library book with a stamp and a small ink inscription on the first front endpaper.Another library stamp on page 11. Clean and bright with tight binding. Boards very good with minimal rubbing ot the corners.

Other poets here represented are equally prestigous: Robert Graves, G.K.Chesterton, Eleanor Frajeon, Walter de la Mare, W.H.Davies, Robert Louis Stevenson, Longfellow etc. Very good clean tight sound square, no bookplate, small discreet inscription, remarkably free from foxing or browning. In original colour pictorial boards featuring satyr and fisherman, upper slightly bowed not detracting. An scarce and lovely nostalgic treat for reader and collector alike, rare to find a copy which is neither exlib or foxed, as here.
