Collection of 20 traditional folk tales designed for young readers from across Indonesia, representing a wide variety of ethnic groups & cultures. First published in 1977 under the title "Dua Puluh Dongeng Anak-anak,'' this is the First English-language Edition from 1982 translated by Gary Lichtenstein. In 84 pages, with pen-&-ink illustrations throughout, this softcover book has decorative magenta/black/white wrappers. Condition is VG: pages white & completely unmarked, but endpapers & first few pages at both beginning & end show significant toning to outer edges. Glued binding is straight & strong.
