Bright collection of 5 stories for early readers, each beginning with a sturdy jigsaw puzzle to help illuminate the story as well as improve children's hand-eye coordination in a fun way. A FIRST EDITION, first printing, from 1943, this hardcover has bright red decorated paper over boards bound with red spiral wire on right side. Condition is VG-: generally quite clean & completely unmarked, spiral binding is secure, but has escaped 1 hole at bottom of front cover--no tears. All edges show rubbing, heaviest at outer corners. The puzzle piece are ALL intact & fit nicely into their slots in the pictures, but some have scrapes/slight loss to their undersides.Our photos depict the Exact book you will receive, never "stock" images of books we don't actually have!
