Arnhem, J. Az. Doijer, 1846, blue paper cover, 35 pp., with a note stating it's the author's copy ("Van den Auteur"), good condition. Baron Edward van Lijnden (1812-1890) was a tax inspector and he was dismissed against his will ("eervol ontslag"), supposedly due to poor eyesight. The real reason had to do with problems between him and inspector F. Beudt.
