Seller: Brenner's Collectable Books ABAA, IOBA, Manasquan, NJ, U.S.A.
Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Paperback Edition. Digest sized pulp magazine, 120pp. $.25 Cover Price. Solid First Paperback Printing, originally published by Dutton in 1940. Tight and clean throughout save very mild toning to page edges. Slight spine lean. Minor edge-wear. Some shallow creases on the rear panel. Still fresh and bright with no chipping or tears. Though not marked in any way, this came directly from the library of H. Lawrence Hoffman who illustrated the front cover. His son, David Hoffman, the noted documentary filmmaker, has signed a statement with information about his father, the artist, and attesting that the book was from his library. A copy of this is included. An attractive collectable copy and surprisingly uncommon.
