Published by Lime Rock Press in 1985 The text was set by computerized photocomposition in 6 point Century Oldstyle at Camp Hill, Pennsylvania and printed by offset lithography at Ann Arbor, Michigan on 60 pound acid-free Warren's "66" natural wove paper." Natural surfaced wooden, book-shaped box: one side opens up to the text of "The Legislative History of Prohibition"; the spine of the book, with red and black, gilt title labels, the spine is a pull-out drawer and with a wood & marbled paper faced wooden panel concealing the small flask, under this flask is a printed instruction sheet for how to store the book, under the bottle is "The Whiskey Drinker's Companion", which measures: 2 1/8 inches x 2 4/8 in., the exterior of the box measures 3 1/2 inches x 6 in. x 2 1/2 in. (thick). The small flask is present, with the US Bureau of ATF tax stamp also present, this tax stamp shows age-related cracking through the paper where the stamp is pasted to the flask's upper portion, but the flask appears to be unopened. Scarce item. Weight: 1 lb.
