Bernhard Linck, "seit 1646 Abt von Zwettl, hatte bei Lebzeiten das Werk nicht herausgegeben; lange Zeit nach seinem Tod wurde das Manuskript aufgefunden, ergänzt und mit Stichen von Matthäus Vischer gedruckt". Tatsächlich gehören zu dem Werk 15 Stemmata und nur ein Stich (der hier fehlt). Die teils angegebene Zahl von 16 Tafeln beruht offenbar auf Zuzählung der Karte; ein Vergleichsexemplar mit 16 Stammtafeln nirgends nachweisbar.
