The first volume considers the sixteenth century from Androuet du Cerceau to Leu and is written by Andre Linzeler. The second volume also considers the sixteenth century from Lever to Woeriot and is written by Jean Adhemar. With adverts to the rear of volume two. With the original wraps bound within. In quarter calf with marbled boards. Externally, very smart with light rubbing to the heads and tails of the spines.
