La Camera di Commercio e Industria di Cuneo, provincia tra le piu' interessate al castagno sia per tradizione che per estensione della coltura, organizza la manifestazione con lo scopo di focalizzare e affrontare i principali problemi di ordine tecnico, varietale, patologico e commerciale divenuti impellenti. La situazione di graduale decadimento della coltura e della riduzione delle superfici dura per tutto il 900. ITA.
