1042 pp. Vladimir Nikolaevich Lyubimenko (1873-1937) was a Russian Soviet botanist, a specialist in plant physiology, and a Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences (since 1922, and of the USSR Academy of Sciences since 1925). V. N. Lyubimenko's most important works, which brought him well-deserved fame, pertain to plant physiology. In them, he studied the role of light in plant life, plant pigments, and the aerial nutrition of plant organisms.
