Bicknell. Printed from a manuscript discovered in 1902. Limited to 467 copies on handmade paper out of a total edition of 487 sets. Full vellum lettered in gilt, gilt crest on upper covers. Top edge gilt. Housed in the original publisher's slipcases. Slipcases with some wear, but stunning copies of the books.

    Condition: Very Good. Vintage piano sheet music in colour illustrated printed paper covers. 13½'' x 10¾''. Contains 6 pages folded sheet music including the covers. Scored for the piano. Thomas Henry Lodge [Henry Lodge] was an American piano performer and composer of popular music. The hits Temptation Rag (1909) followed by Sure Fire Rag (1910) and Red Pepper (1910) established himself selling music in stores and on the vaudeville circuit. After leaving Rhode Island for New York in 1912, he worked in bars and cabarets before becoming the pianist of the well-known dancers, Irene and Vernon Castle. In the 1920's he moved to Palm Beach, Florida to work with an orchestra and also commuted to Los Angeles, California in the early days of film music. In Very Good condition. Member of the P.B.F.A.
